Why you shouldn't put your phone number on the FOR SALE board. If you leave it off, it will "force" potential buyers to look at your pages on the davyhulme.net website, so they'll see all your property's particulars, the room sizes, what's included, all the photos and a link to its location on an online streetmap.  They should have no need to call you to ask any routine questions. Your phone number is there so when they do call, it will probably be to make an appointment to view. What about buyers who haven't got the internet? Well, most have. And if they haven't, they will almost certainly know someone who has access to the internet. The advantages described above far outweigh the the small chance that someone can't get access to the internet at all.
